Ordering, Delivery & Pickup
Do you ship overseas?
No — we only post within New Zealand. If you're outside NZ, you can order direct from the supplier (for example, Aeroflow for Aeroflow lines).
How long will it take to get my order?
If the parts are in stock, orders placed before 12 noon are usually delivered within 2–3 working days. South Island and rural deliveries can take a little longer. If we need to bring a part in for you, delivery depends on the supplier and the freight option you choose.
What shipping carrier do you use, and can I track my order?
We send NZ-wide with Courier Post. Once your order ships you'll get a confirmation email with tracking so you can follow it to your door.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout based on the size, weight and destination of your order, so you'll always see the exact cost before you pay.
Can I pick up my order in store?
Yes. You're welcome to collect from our store at 32 Ellis Street, Frankton, Hamilton. If you don't see a pickup option at checkout, just get in touch and we'll have it ready for you.
Where are you, and what are your opening hours?
We're based at 32 Ellis Street, Frankton, Hamilton. For current opening hours and the best way to reach us, see our Contact page or call 07 846 1623.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Shopify checkout. Have a question about a specific payment option? Just ask us.
Can you order in a part that isn't on the website?
Often, yes. We carry far more than what's listed online and can source a huge range of performance and restoration parts. If you can't find what you need, send us the details and we'll let you know price and availability.
Returns & Warranty
Can I return my product?
We always aim to make sure you're happy with what you buy, but if you do need to return an order we're glad to help. Email us directly and we'll walk you through it. Full details are in our Returns Policy.
Do your parts come with a warranty?
Yes — our products are covered in line with our Warranty Policy and the manufacturer's terms. If you think something isn't right, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Fittings, Hose & Fuel Systems
What is an AN fitting, and how do AN sizes work?
AN (Army–Navy) is a sizing standard for high-performance hose and fittings, measured in dash sizes like -6 or -8. The dash number refers to the equivalent tube outside diameter in sixteenths of an inch — so -8 is 8/16" (½"). For the full breakdown with a size chart, read our AN Fitting Sizes guide, or browse Fittings & Adapters.
What size fuel line do I need?
It depends on your power target and whether you're feeding a carb or EFI. As a rough guide, -6 suits many naturally aspirated builds, -8 is a common feed line for higher-horsepower and forced-induction setups, with -10 for big power. Our Fuel Line Sizing guide breaks it down by horsepower. Shop Hose & Tube.
What's the difference between braided, PTFE and push-lock hose?
Push-lock (rubber) hose is the easy, affordable choice for low-pressure fuel, oil and coolant. Stainless-braided rubber hose adds protection and looks the part. PTFE (Teflon-lined) hose is the premium option — it handles E85, brake fluid and high heat, and won't let fuel smell permeate. Compare them in our hose guide.
Do I need an oil catch can?
If you've got a modern turbo or direct-injection engine, a catch can is one of the cheapest ways to keep oil mist out of your intake and inlet valves. It collects the blow-by that your PCV system would otherwise recirculate. Learn how they work in our catch can guide, or browse catch cans & tanks.
How do I choose the right fuel pump?
Match the pump's flow (LPH) to your power goal and fuel type, leaving headroom — E85 needs roughly 30% more flow than petrol for the same power. Our fuel pump guide shows how to size LPH to horsepower. Browse fuel pumps & EFI.
What does a fuel pressure regulator do?
A fuel pressure regulator keeps fuel pressure steady so your engine gets a consistent, predictable fuel delivery across the rev range. On boosted cars, a 1:1 rise regulator raises pressure with boost to keep injectors flowing correctly. See how to set base pressure.
Silicone or rubber hose — which should I use?
Silicone handles higher temperatures and looks great for radiator, intercooler and coolant plumbing, but it isn't suitable for fuel or oil. For those, use the correct rubber or PTFE hose. Our silicone vs rubber guide explains where each belongs. Shop Silicone Hoses.
Are your fuel system parts E85 compatible?
Many are — including selected fuel pumps, PTFE hose and anodised fittings. E85 is hard on standard rubber, so for ethanol blends we recommend PTFE-lined hose and E85-rated pumps. Check the product description, or ask us for the right combination for your build.
What's a V-band clamp and when do I use one?
A V-band clamp joins two flanges with a quick, leak-free, repeatable seal — ideal for exhaust, turbo and intercooler connections you'll want to take apart again. We cover them in our stainless exhaust guide. Browse fabrication & exhaust.
Will these parts fit my car?
A lot of our range is universal, but fitment matters — especially for fuel, cooling and driveline parts. If you're not sure, send us your vehicle details and what you're building and we'll point you to the right parts. With 30+ years in the trade, we'd rather get it right the first time.
Workshop & Custom Work
Do you make custom braided hoses or do fabrication work?
Yes. We build custom braided and PTFE hose assemblies to length, and our partner workshops handle bigger jobs — Gas Pedal Fab for fabrication and Torque Lab for tuning and performance work. Talk to us about what you need.
